A directory built for discovery
Great conversations happen in all kinds of places: a small IRC channel, a gaming community, a language exchange, or a room where people talk about their day. Finding those places should be easier than sorting through vague promises and endless search results.
123chats brings independent chat websites and communities into one browsable directory. Each room has its own page with a description, interests, a link to the original website, and, when supported, a chat you can load without leaving the page. We do not operate the communities listed here or claim affiliation with their providers.
Find a conversation, not a popularity contest
Start with a topic you care about, then read the room's description. Technology communities often center on projects or problem-solving. General rooms are more open-ended. A gaming community might organize around a particular game, a platform, or simply finding people to play with.
We do not invent live member counts or review scores. “Editor's pick” identifies a directory recommendation, not a paid ranking or a promise about the people currently online. Sponsored placements are labeled as advertisements and remain separate from the organic listings.
How a room gets listed
Community operators and visitors can submit a website with an original description and category. A moderator reviews the submission before publication. Embedded URLs and scripts receive a separate review as part of that process; submitted code never runs automatically on this website.
A reviewed listing is not a guarantee that every live message is safe or that a provider's policies will stay the same. Check the community's own rules, moderation options, and privacy policy before joining. We may remove or update listings after a report.
You're in control of embedded chats
No third-party chat is loaded until you choose “Load chat.” The frame is sandboxed to limit its access to this website. Some providers require capabilities our sandbox intentionally does not allow; those communities can still be reached through their official website.
Separate spaces for adult communities
Adult listings belong in a separate, age-restricted category. They are excluded from our public sitemap and Google ad placements. The age confirmation is a self-attestation, not identity verification. Illegal, exploitative, and non-consensual content is not permitted anywhere in this directory.
Have a community to share?
Listing a room is free. Give readers an honest description of what happens there, label age restrictions accurately, and submit only integrations you have permission to use.
